Satellite Test Engineer (M/F) / Electrical Engineering

Your Tasks

Lead of a small team of engineers / technicians
Work planning, organization and control
Requirements engineering
Test specification and procedure generation as well as test report generation
Interface testing of platform and navigation payload, Integrated System Tests, Solar Array Wing Tests, familiar with RF and EMC testing
Functional and performance testing of satellite subsystems, FDIR, etc.
Familiar with Test Readiness Reviews, Post Test Reviews and Test Review Boards
Delegated Quality Assurance tasks like e.g. Key Inspection Points, standard inspections, mating logs, procedure variations, Non-Conformance Reports, Non-Conformance Review Boards

Your Qualifications

A degree in electrical engineering, aerospace technology, physics or comparable qualification
At least four years of experience in the satellite AIT or test field
Knowledge of ECSS Standards for Electrical Engineering, testing and verification of software and hardware
Knowledge about Spacecraft Central Checkout Systems (CCS), preferably running under SCOS 2000 Version 3.1 (TOPE)
Experience in testing and verification of Failure Detection Isolation and Recovery functionality as well as platform to payload interfaces
Experience in functional and performance testing and verification of satellite subsystems and on-board software
High motivation and commitment to the project
Used to tough project targets and challenges
Well-developed communication skills and hands-on mentality
Excellent conceptual and analytical skills and able to work under time pressure
Fluency in spoken and written English
