REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Business experience

- Mandatory:
-Basic knowledge of insurance process (Life, Non-Life, EB)
- Preferable:
- Experience in functional Enterprise modelling and Architecture (trough projects)

Technical experience

- Mandatory:
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Tools
- Understanding development life cycles
- Mastering scheduling principles and techniques (CTRL/M)
- SAS Base - SAS Macro - SAS OLAP Cube Studio
- SAS DI studio - SAS Enterprise Guide + Stored Processes
- SAS Information Map + Web Report Studio - SAS Portal
- SAS Management Console
- SAS Visual analytics
- Knowledge of networking principles, virtual clients (Citrix/Appv), storage basics, SQL Server
- Preferable:
- SAS E-miner/IBM SPSS Modeller/RadipMiner/Knime/R
- Microsoft BI tools
- Microsoft SSIS/SSRS
- HADOOP

Functional experience

- Mandatory:
- Some experience in functional analysis
- Understanding development life cycles
- Mastering scheduling principles and techniques
- Experience in Datamodelling
- Preferable:
- Experience in Datamodelling (via Erwin)

OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB

Technical evolution

- Technical definition of different data patrimonies
- Documenting the platform
- Definition of best practices and patterns to be applied in his/her application context and documenting and maintaining them
- The monitoring/control of the technical design (logical data, functionalities and controls) of the applications of his/her business domain
- Validating the deviations needed in the design and controlling they are documented
- Ensuring the respect of the AG Insurance technical design standards and guiding the evolution of those standards
- Framework and platform improvement and evolution proposals
- Point of contact for hardware and software evolutions validations
- Participation in Proof of concepts

Performance

- Create reporting and process to monitor the platform performance and availability
- Anticipate the decrease of performances using the created reports and propose solution to pro-actively avoid crisis situations

Support

- Expert support (third line) to clients

Development

- Development in the context of business projects
- Development of our data platforms' framework

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT:

- Dutch and French: one fluent, the other one basic at least
- Fluent English:

LEVEL OF EDUCATION REQUIRED:

University Graduate or Professional bachelor

Ideally University graduate Master in information Science, Management or Industrial Engineer.
