SAS/Statistical Programmer - 1 year Contract

Large Pharma company in Cambridge MA has immediate need for a SAS programmer for a 1 year contract. Other: * Good knowledge of SAS, including SAS macro language, data manipulation techniques, and statistical procedures (e.g., PROC FREQ, PROC REPORT, * Knowledge of medical and statistical terminology. * Familiarity with coding dictionaries (WHO, COSTART, ICD-9, MedDRA) Skills & Responsibilities: * Writing SAS programs to generate statistical analyses (i.e., tables, listings, figures, and inferential statistical output). * Perform SAS programming using more complex techniques as SAS macro language, advanced data manipulation techniques, and statistical procedures (e.g., PROC GLM, PROC FREQ, PROC REPORT). * Debug, troubleshoot, and provide quality review of complex SAS programs * Performing quality review on SAS programs generated by other statistical programmers and biostatisticians. * Evaluate and/or identify opportunities for standardization of programming code across projects. Work with data management and clinical research to integrate data collection and database design into standardization process. * Review and provide feedback for Data Validation Plans (DVPs). * Being familiar with FDA regulations which affect the reporting of clinical trial data. This includes good clinical practice and guidelines for electronic submissions. * B.A. / B.S. with at least 5 years of relevant programming experience or 3+ years with an M.S.
