SAS Marketing Database Developer

I currently have a requirement for a SAS Marketing Database Developer in the North West working for a leading Financial Services Client. The details are below- Location: Manchester

Duration: 6 months +

Rate: £ 375-450 p/d

Start Date: September

Key Skills- Experience of using a SAS scheduler (the client use SAS Management Console).

Experience of working within a marketing environment and knowledge of the types of data that would be used (e.g. customer, account, transaction, summarised, etc.)

Resolving data queries and issues (working on lots of smaller jobs at one time rather than working on one project/ development).

Base SAS including DB2

Maintenance of existing database tables and creation of ad-hoc user tables.

Any experience of campaign management software would be useful as the underlying data that is maintained feeds this software (currently use Unica Campaign).

Basic UNIX skills.

Working under own initiative and able to converse with both IT and 'non technical' colleagues.
