SAS Mainframe Programmer

Job Description :
Ability to look into complex Legacy SAS Mainframe coding and interpret it for Informatica developers for conversion.
Ability to identify improvement scope and enhance Legacy Mainframe SAS code.
Regular production support and scheduling of Mainframe SAS jobs.
Collects and organize data from Mainframe files, data warehouses, vendor extracts, departmental spreadsheets and databases, and Internet/Intranet sites for easy use by internal business and analytical clients.
Ensure the integrity of all data for the purposes of maintaining regulatory compliance, triaging data problems directly to the vendors and clients.
Communicates status to management or lead.
Translate customer business requirements needs into a final product.
Helps setup configuration control and version management process on Mainframe SAS code using ChangeMAN or similar tool.

Required Experience:
5+ years of experience required in Mainframe SAS, JCL, schedulers, data analysis and production of SAS datasets.
Experience of large databases or data warehouses in Oracle or Teradata is a plus.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, finance, information systems or related area or equivalent experience.
Post-graduate education or training is a plus.
Experience with SQL and Oracle PL/SQL is a plus.
Requires ability to keep up with technological changes
Experience and willingness of working on high pressure agile development mode is essential

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of experience required in Mainframe SAS, JCL, schedulers, data analysis and production of SAS datasets.
Required Education: BS degree preferred Associates Degree required
