SAS Insight Analyst

Position: SAS Insight Analyst
Location: Central London

Duration: 3 - 6 months

Salary: £350 - £450 per day

Currently working on a brilliant opportunity for a talented SAS Insight Analyst to join my FMCG clients Consumer Intelligence team to be based in Central London. You will be required to provide insight to the business using various analytical techniques such as segmentation, targeting and modelling to help drive business growth in the on trade through strategic market analysis leveraging all continuous data sources.

Responsibilities:

- Work with key stakeholders (Market Measures Manager, Marketing & Sales Leadership) to identify on trade strategic issues which require more in depth analysis.
- Conduct rigorous analysis of these complex strategic issues and gain stakeholder buy-in to strategic recommendations.

Experience Required:

- Excellent SAS/SQL skills - Modelling, Coding, Regression, CHAID, Segmentation, CHURN, Base, EG, Macros

Advanced Excel
- A degree level education in a relevant subject eg Statistics, Maths etc. is preferable
- Proven problem definition and problem solving skills coupled with structured thinking and strong analytical abilities.
- Good data manipulation and reporting skills
- Advanced analytical techniques
- Ability to interpret data into actionable insight
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written presentation skills) with the ability to distil and bring complex data alive.
- Gravitas, confidence and leadership skills to challenge and influence at all and frequently senior levels of the business.
- A strong understanding of broad business issues, the trade and competitive environments.
