REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Business experience

- Mandatory:
- Strong interest for Business Process Analysis
- Good knowledge of insurance processes (Life, Non Life, EB)
- Preferable:
- Experience in Business Process Modelling (trough projects)

Technical experience

- Mandatory:
- SAS Base - SAS Macro - SAS OLAP Cube Studio
- SAS DI studio - SAS Enterprise Guide + Stored Processes
- SAS Information Map Studio + Web Report Studio - SAS Portal.
- Microsoft BI tools
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Tools
- Preferable:
- SAS Management Console
- SAS Visual analytics
- Erwin

Functional experience

- Mandatory:
- Experience in Datamodelling & data analysis & functional analysis
- Experience in functional Enterprise modelling and Architecture (trough projects)
- Preferable:
- Understanding development life cycles

OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB

The key missions of the data warehouse business analyst are

- Organization and moderating workshops with the business client in order to define their business needs.
- Gathering the business requirements and define solutions with the client
- Assisting the project manager for project planning and follow-up
- Designing the different data patrimonies and keep it coherent in the time
- Assessing new tools, new technologies and methodologies
- Documenting the functional documentation
- Explaining the functional contents of the projects to the development team (link between users and the development team)
- The monitoring/control of the functional design (logical data, functionalities and controls) of the applications of his business domain.
- Validating the deviations needed in the design and controlling they are documented.
- Ensuring the respect of our functional and technical design standards.
- Definition of best practices and patterns to be applied in his application context and documenting and maintaining them.
- Helping to define the testing approach of the projects with the clients

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT:

- Dutch and French: one fluent, the other one basic at least
- Fluent English

LEVEL OF EDUCATION REQUIRED:

University Graduate or Professional bachelor

Ideally University graduate Master in information Science, Management or Industrial Engineer.
