SAS Expert Wanted

Global Enterprise Partners is looking for SAS Dev Engineer for a multinational in The Netherlands. The client currently has got an exciting international project going on, for this reason they are seeking for someone with the following skills and experience.

Required:

The SAS dev engineer will become part of the model data squad within this financial institution.

As a dev engineer you will be responsible for:

* Design and implementation of data marts jointly with the data analysts in the team.

* You will build codes from scratch or customizes/maintains code for this purpose

* You will create test cases and test scripts, tests applications in the Test environment and gathers test evidence

* You will solve findings found during testing

* You will transforms data (ETL) from source- to target format

* You will continuously enhance the automation of testing and deployment tools and activities

* You will arrange and operate Development- and Test environments of systems in scope

* You Apply version control and software configuration management

* You will for instance work on the creation of an LGD data mart (this contains the Loss Given Default data). The LGD data mart is the source for modelling data and data exchange with external parties such as Global Credit Data (GCD).

We are looking for (expertise):

* Education at Bachelor/Master level with a strong analytical background, preferably in IT;

* Relevant IT and domain experience: 2-3 years;

* Extensive SAS/SQL/programming/ETL experience (SAS DI Studio); Personal skills

* You are a team player.

* Good communicator given that you are part of a multi-disciplinary team. Excellent problem analysis and judgement skills

* Customer focus and customer interests paramount

* Fluency in English both written and verbal (work language).

This is a temporary (freelance) position, for 6-12 months.
