SAS Developer/SAS base/SAS Certified/SAS 9/SAS administrator

My client, a large central government agency are looking to recruit based on the launch of a large project and ongoing BAU work requiring a seasoned SAS developer.

The SAS developer will have extensive experience in large Data warehouse environments and Business Intelligence based projects

The SAS developer will design processing changes to MI Improvements, Investigation, creation and documentation of requirements for solution improvements; Design documentation for solution improvements; Implementation and testing of solution improvements; Assist in end-to-end testing of MI solution to identify and fix defects; Analysis of adhoc queries and impacts of MI Solution.

The SAS developer will administrate and provide support to the SAS (Statistical Analysis Software) elements of the Centric project which covers server software installation and configuration,

The SAS developer will provide user support and administering the security aspects of data access in the Centric project. Provide administrative support to the non-Centric users of the SAS system as thius is maintained as a seperate system Provide support and guidance to the 600 users of this software system

The SAS developer provide support specifically to a number of in-house written applications inclusing the Genesis micro-simulation system and the Family Resources Survey system Supports the import of data files from ONS and conversion into SAS datasets

Key Tasks
a: Provide SAS Administration to the Centric Project
b. Provide SAS Administration to the general SAS users across the client
c. Provide general SAS support to SAS users across the DWP
d. Supports the import of data files from ONS and conversion into SAS datasets
