SAS DEVELOPER (RISK)

A SAS Developer (Risk) is urgently required for a long-term, lucrative contract position with a major Financial Services client based in Amsterdam.

The SAS Developer (Risk) will support the standardisation of Risk projects and will have proven experience in usage of SAS as well as a background in Risk/Finance. The SAS Developer (Risk) will have strong database and report building skills, but also good communication skills and be comfortable aligning with end-users. The SAS Developer (Risk) will support the client in building databases, queries and report functionality for the global risk community.

The SAS Developer (Risk) will ideally have 65% + of the following skills and experience:

- Communicative;
- Strong analytical and database skills
- Experience with SAS tooling;
- A good team player;
- Fluency in English both written and verbal (work language); Dutch is an advantage
- Knowledge of credit and/or market risk is nice to have

The SAS Developer (Risk) will be responsible for activities including:

- Creation of data marts and reports for portfolio monitoring following requirements from the global risk organization aiming for standardization and streamlining of risk reports. The newly built reporting functionality has to be tested during a parallel run. The end users are both at head office
- Build data queries based on requests from portfolio owners to help them with their business analysis.
- Be the linking pin with the report users in head office and the local entities to meet their requirements.

This is an urgent role and interviews are scheduled for next week.
