SAS Developer Job

SAS DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Walnut Creek, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE:

- The manager is looking for an experienced programmer with strong knowledge of SAS and SAS macro programs to process and deliver Marketing campaigns. This individual will take ownership of existing SAS programs/jobs and be responsible for automating the output datasets and reports that the project team can use.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Investigate data anomalies and queries into processed data to answer client and project team inquiries.
- Develop and improve existing data extraction, campaign programs and procedures.
- Edit and clean data; document programs and procedures.
- Work closely with team members to prepare work estimates and to develop work plans and schedules.
- Provide sophisticated, professional customer service to internal clients.
- Performs group and departmental Quality Control (QC) procedures.
- Help build out a Marketing DataMart to be used in creating all of our campaigns

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- A minimum of five (5) years of experience working as an SAS programmer, including experience in the SAS 9 environment using SAS Macro.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in building out Marketing Campaigns, is a plus.
