SAS DEVELOPER (CREDIT RISK)

A SAS Developer (Credit Risk) is urgently required for an ASAP start with a major financial services client in Amsterdam.

The SAS Developer (Credit Risk) will IDEALLY have the following skills and experience:

- Bachelor or Master in computer science or other science which has equipped you with the necessary statistics knowledge and database/programming skills;
- 3-4 years of experience in a data/analytics oriented function;
- Experience with analytic tooling (eg SAS, Matlab);
- Practical project experience with the application of data science;
- Knowledge of credit risk and related regulation.

The SAS Developer (Credit Risk) will be responsible for:

- creating and running SAS projects to extract required information from source systems;
- ensuring data is managed and of the required quality: both monitoring and follow up (data steward role);
- interpreting and analysing data (eg looking at trends/anomalies);
- following up on regulatory data requests ensuring regulatory compliance;
- embedding the knowledge and way of analysing the data in the risk organisation. Sharing expertise and work on innovative projects with other Data Scientists.
