SAS Data Integration (DI) Developer : World Leading Oil and Gas Co

World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for a SAS Data Integration (DI) Developer to be based in London.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The SAS Data Integration (DI) Developer position will consist of working with a data analytics team on large data sets supporting a number of projects.

- Build and Configure SAS Staging and Data Marts (including ETL processes) using SAS DI Studio.
- Run data batches and undertaking data investigation on a daily basis from the Data Warehouse.
- Support Design of SAS Staging and Data Marts for programme implementation.
- Test and support SIT/UAT test activities where required.
- Support New Data Set Builds across the risk platform

KEY COMPETENCIES:

- A minimum of 3-5 years SAS experience, specifically with latest version of SAS DI Studio.
- Experience with other SAS tools - SAS BI, Enterprise Miner, Enterprise Guide is desirable, however not essential.
- Experience with SAS Base/Macros/SQL/ETL is desirable.
- Proven experience of working with large data sets/data management.
- Good communication skills; required to liaise with other departments and technical explanations to clients when required.
- Team player & Driven Individual.
- Previous background of large consultancy firm or large international organisation.

You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
