SAS Data Analyst

A well-known bank is looking for a SAS SME Data Analyst.

The crux of the role will be to undertake analytical work on the banks credit card portfolio, using financial, customer and internal & external credit risk data.

Responsibilities:
. Use SAS and SQL to extract data from data warehouses
. Apply statistical/technical methods to data to deliver insightful findings
. Interpret financial, customer and credit risk data and relating to business strategy
. Use excel pivots & charts and PowerPoint
. Present data clearly and concisely, using a variety of charts & tables and articulating key data insights

Skills:
. Proven background in data analysis in the Financial Services sector
. SAS and SQL programming skills
. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
. Experienced in the extraction and manipulation of data to support analysis and insight generation
. A natural ability with numbers
