SAS BI Developer/Analyst - Insurance

My client is urgently seeking 2 SAS Analyst/Developers for initial 3 month contracts. You must have good insurance product knowledge and have a strong ability to manage and communicate with key stakeholders of a non-technical background. This role involves a high level of analysis so candidates should come from a numerate/statistical background.

Required Skills & Experience

* Participate in the design and development of data marts to ensure efficient analytics processes

* Extract data from the central SQL data source

* Design and develop a series of SAS macro's of commonly utilized logic

* Plan and organize the translation of business logic into SAS programs

* Output methodology results into Excel and SQL

* Reconcile data following each transfer to ensure completeness and accuracy

* Provide quality assurance reviews for other project members

* Document all programs and macros

* Maintain an up to date understanding of an ensure adherence to best practices
