SAS ANALYTICS CONSULTANT - MERELBEKE, BELGIUM - DUTCH SPEAKING

One of our blue chip clients is urgently looking for a SAS Expert

Due to your technical background, you can handle the end-to-end business: you are therefore in need analysis for technical data processing and transformation (eg SAS DI) and visualization and/or reporting Of it.

In addition, you provide technical support to the SAS BI team:
- Performing daily "keep it running" activities
- Performing system administration tasks
- Incident & Problem management
- Capacity management
- Availability management
- Follow-up and assist with planned interventions by the outsourcing partner
- System management, so performance can be guaranteed
- Follow-up change & release process

You also help business with acquiring new insights from data, by deploying appropriate analytics techniques based on the specific business context.
- Very good knowledge of SAS: SAS Visual Analytics, Visual Statistics, SAS Management Console, E-Guide, E-Miner and SAS Base.
- Good knowledge of other analytics tools on the market, used methods and recent innovations.
- Good knowledge of statistical methods for data analysis and transformation (data distribution, testing, rescaling, ...).
- Good knowledge of different predictive and descriptive analytics algorithms such as decision trees, linear/logistic regression, clustering, ranking, boosting, forecasting, ...
- Basic notes of GIS

Experience on similar assignments like this one. In particular:
- Experience in technical data processing and transformation by means of SAS DI, eGuide and SAS Base.
- Experience in operating an SAS environment operationally to ensure the necessary SLAs
- Experience with different visualization techniques in function of the specific context
- Have experience in coaching the business in the development of analytical issues in which the business operates in a self-service mode, including, among other things, the SAS software mentioned.

You will be part of a team of BI experts, including some with SAS expertise in the ICT - Business Applications Support Services - Business Intelligence service.
