SAS Analyst

SAS ANALYST/PRICING AND PROMOTIONS/REPORTING AND INSIGHTS

Our client, a leading FMCG & food retail organisation is currently looking for a SAS Analyst for an initial 6 month contract in London. You will be responsible for improving the value perception through managing pricing and promotions analytics, reporting and data sources using SAS.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Deliver pricing and promotions analysis, and maintaining data sources, tools and systems
- Ownership of data, tools and reporting, ensuring tools and data are sufficient in order for the team to deliver legal price and promotions reports and governance for internal and external price and promotions policies
- Develop and deliver periodic insight and analysis across all price, promotions and marketing activity
- Maintain the tools to measure, monitor and track our price and promotions against competitors
- Deliver reports and insight within agreed SLAs to stakeholders

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Strong skills in SAS and EXCEL and experience in development of marketing information for the provision of business insights and decision support
- Experience of providing statistical/marketing modelling in a business environment
- A broad numerical & analytical background with experience in complex statistical problems
- Good communicator with the ability to explain complex analytical techniques to non-technical audiences in a clear and positive manner
- Proven project management skills and ability to manage several projects at once, working at pace and delivering to deadlines
- Understanding data availability, data strengths and weaknesses
