JOB PURPOSE
A financial services company are looking for a SAS Analyst to fill a 6 month fixed term contract in the
West Midlands.

You will be required to deliver direct mail campaigns through customer data selections and add insight to those campaigns through analysis & reporting.

Acting as a consultant to internal customers eg Customer and Partner Marketing, and Partner Managers to support the development and implementation of the card programme and related offers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Produce and have signed off agreed selection lists to support the contact strategy, for marketing & non-marketing campaigns using different data and systems.
* Ensure that campaign list delivery, campaign analysis and an audit trail can take place through correct set up of the selection lists on the system.
* Be able to suggest and implement statistically valid control groups where appropriate.
* Perform KPI reporting for each campaign eg Flash pack etc. using an appropriate tool & present value added conclusions on campaign effectiveness based on campaign objectives and expectations.
* Format the selection list appropriately for the mailing house, and include seed lists.
* Understand the client's key business dynamics to assist in a consultancy capacity eg Identifying trends.
* Work with Customer Marketing, Partner Marketing and Campaign teams to suggest how campaigns should be put together and measured.
* Work with Operational Support to set up the mailing schedule for statement fulfillment.
* Maintain appropriate DBMA profile within the business by actively integrating with all departments.
* Sponsor DBMA projects where required.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Proficient in the use of the marketing database, campaign management tools, SAS, Excel, Access and any other tools required for the successful implementation of Direct Marketing campaigns, reporting, completion of analysis and any ad hoc information.
