SAP VIM Technical Consultant

Job description

Job overview:
We are looking for a technical-oriented Consultant that has experience with the development of solutions in SAP FI, SAP workflows and ABAP development in general. The Consultant is also familiar with the suite of OpenText for SAP products including Invoice Management (VIM), Invoice Capture Center (ICC), Doculink/Document Access and Extended ECM (xECM).
The Consultant will support our existing SAP VIM solution team for the planned roll-out in Europe/planned global roll-out.

Primary Responsibilities and Activities:
The Consultant must have experience working with functional consultants preparing and translating the business requirements for SAP FI solutions. This includes matching the business requirements with possible state-of-the-art technology as well as considering all environmental aspects during the solution development. Experience working in the SAP FI environment as well as with the OpenText for SAP products is highly desired.The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience developing SAP solutions as well as exposure to OpenText solutions.

Business requirement transfer
*Match functional/business requirement with given solution environment and work on estimates for the implementation
*Detailed planning of all implementation aspects

Solution development
*Configure and enhance existing solution design for various user interfaces (SAP GUI, Web Portal, Mobile)
*Custom coding and enhancements of existing solution (function modules, classes, etc.)
*Perform fixes and solution updates during the deployment period

Support
*Provide technical input and support for end user problems
*Work on solution enhancement and further improvements to keep the system up-to-date
*Prepare go live activities

Support
*Provide key user support during hyper-care phase and after
*Gather solution improvements
