SAP Test Manager

SAP Test Manager required for 18-month contract based in Hong Kong to start ASAP.

The Test manager is responsible for reaching the defined and agreed test goals, producing the test strategy and approach, and managing all aspects of testing.

1. The responsibilities the Test Manager include:

- Overall testing for the project to ensure the solution meets all key business and quality requirements
- Setting up a test approach, design of test strategy according the quality goals, test activities and responsibilities, test stages and methods, and test case design.
- Define requirements and coordinate setup of the technical test environment, test data management, and test tool (HP QC) setup.
- Review of Test Deliverables (test cases, scripts, test documentation, test reporting, error handling, and defect creation).
- Coordinate all testing activities across the main test phases of System, Integration, Performance and User Acceptance testing
- Monitoring of test quality, tests and identification of defects.
- Reporting of defects until successful resolution thereof.
- Execution of non-functional tests (eg performance).
- Coordination and administration of all test activities.
- Ensures appropriate coverage of application functionality in the various test plans and test cases.
- Ensures test results and metrics are collected and reported.
- Ensures closure of tests, including final Test Execution Summaries, and recommendation to proceed.

2. The person needs to have:

- At least 5-10 years of full SAP ERP testing leadership experience
- At least 10-15 full life cycle projects from a testing perspective
- Experience in leading a project testing for functional, including Integration testing, and non functional testing
- Experience in setting up the integration test scenarios required in an SAP ERP Integration testing process
- Ability to direct and lead the functional consultants and leads across the business and multiple vendors
- Ability to practically link functional requirements to traceability Matrix
- Demonstrated experience in managing, leading and mentoring a team of multi-disciplinary testers
- Demonstrated experience with the development, implementation and evaluation of relevant testing documentation, including Test Strategies, Test Plans and Test Reports/Metrics
- Demonstrated experience in managing testing activities of large scale IT systems
- Demonstrated experience in SAP testing, with extensive knowledge and skills across SAP modules and functions
- Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills and a proven ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated communication skills including the ability to liaise with senior management
