SAP Technology Consultant (m/w) - 29347/FC

Task and Responsibilities:
Maintain design of target system landscape and client structure in close cooperation with our SAP Solutions Architects and in alignment with our strategies for management of SAP environments
Assure proper design and routines for ABAP and Java Software Logistics
Provide consulting expertise and hands-on support for various national and international SAP projects
Sizing, ordering and initial technical configuration of SAP systems
Scheduling of applicable SAP Active Global Support services
Define/maintain routines for transition to production and handover to support organization
Development and maintenance of documentation
Configuration and administration of SAP Solution Manager work-centers for Change Management and Technical Operations (system administration, system monitoring, data volume management, root cause analysis etc.)
Optimization of technical infrastructure. Continuity planning. Design and testing of failover environment in cooperation with infrastructure provider and our SAP Operations team(s)
Competence transfer and guidance to our SAP Operations team(s)
3rd level support/subject matter expert

Skills:
Extensive experience and knowledge of SAP NetWeaver Technology, (ABAP and Java) 7.0 or higher
experience in collaborating with near- and offshore service provider
Very good knowledge and experience with E2E-Solution Operations and E2E-Change Management in SAP Solution Manager 7.1
Very good insight in SAP Solution Manager Incident and Problem Management, Test Management, Business Process Documentation
Ability to work independently and to keep calm when hectic situations occur, showing a positive attitude to changing demands,
Strong analytical skills combined with ability to work in teams
Good written and oral presentation skills (English)
Curious, solution oriented, interested in a challenging and wide-ranging work
Ability to understand and transfer customer needs to technical solutions
Degree in informatics (experience might compensate for lack of formal university education)
SAP certifications and experience with projects and operations of complex SAP environments from international companies is an advantage
