SAP Technical Netweaver Architect Opportunity - Switzerland

Next Ventures are currently looking for a SAP Technical Architect with experience in Integration and Security for a project in Switzerland.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Analysis and specification of technical requirements, contribute or propose technical designs in the area of NetWeaver, Basis and technical architecture
- Focus and excellence on integration technologies, security, encryption and related concepts
- Contribute to system landscape strategy, including design and realization of solutions for fail/over, availability, disaster recovery, state of the art monitoring and error handling
- Support and assist functional teams to evaluate technical solution options for new projects or new requirements, pro-active collaboration with functional teams and development team
- Assist project managers in planning and execution of country deployments in adherence with standardized methodology  

SKILL PROFILE

- In depth knowledge of SAP NetWeaver and Basis
- Planning, design, installation & technical configuration SAP modules & components
- In depth knowledge SAP ecosystem, SAP architecture and SAP application life cycle management and Run methodology
- Experience with operations of large global SAP system landscapes
- Experience with complex technical integration solutions and monitoring solutions
- Contribution to technical roadmap, upgrade and support package planning
- Experience or solid knowledge of state of the art security and compliance standards
- Error handling and issue resolution
- Experience with administration of database backends

REQUIREMENTS

- University degree or comparable formal education or proven track for ability to work in a structured and methodic way
- Minimum 7 years experience in ERP projects
- Minimum 5 years proven experience SAP Netweaver ERP and Basis
- Minimum 5 years experience in SAP integration architecture and contribution to system landscape strategy
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
- Interpersonal skills and good communication skills
- Willingness for team work, able to work independently and within teams
- Work with a global perspective and with a multinational team, respecting different cultures and behaviors

Languages:

- Fluent English in spoken and written form
- German: advantage

Other requirements

Willingness to limited travel (apr. 10%)

Willingness to work on call basis during peak time (major global releases, severe issue resolution in operations 3rd level support)
