SAP Systems Accountant

A SAP Systems Accountant is required for a 12-18 month contract on behalf of a client based in Hertfordshire.

The role will be the Subject Matter Expert for SAP FI/CO and PS modules specifically, acting as the key liaison between the off-shore support team/Consultancy partner and finance users within the UK to ensure user requirements are met and issues resolved. The incumbent will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement to ensure best practice use of SAP across the UK business, including the review of existing processes and interfaces with wider business systems to advise and implement improvements.

As the role will be based in Finance, the successful candidate will require a strong finance background (ideally Part Qualified/Qualified Accountant). Strong functional experience of SAP FI/CO and PS is a must, with prior experience of providing functional support and enhancements to a sizeable user-base. Stakeholder management and vendor management experience is also a key attribute for the position as the post-holder will engage closely with off-shore teams and senior Finance stakeholders.
