SAP SYSTEM INTEGRATION MANAGER (SAP SD/MM) - ENGLISH SPEAKING - BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

My client in Belgium is looking for an SAP System Integration Manager with experience in SAP implementation projects and in SAP modules MM, SD.

Mission Description and Context:
The person in this position assists the ERP Program Manager to deliver the ERP project (SAP). He/She is the link between the Process team and the System development team and oversees the design of the different SAP modules in relation to the business requirements, ensuring an integrated approach in line with best practice SAP design.

The duties and responsibilities are:
* Ensures delivery of the SAP design in line with the SAP business case. He/She focuses on the identified value drivers and ensures that the system design is enabling the required value creation. He/She will also translate system functionality to the business users in such a way that the benefits are clarified and expectations are managed.
* He/She relies on his/her vast experience to ensure that the SAP design is done according to best practices, enabling efficient system maintenance after roll-out (TCO).
* He/She will coach and mentor staff and managers who are part of the program implementation team.
* Works on highly complex business issues that have significant impact to the enterprise, and across enterprise processes and functions and ensures a proper alignment of the system design
* Oversees the quality of the deliverables which are relevant to the system design to ensure a consistent ERP implementation
* Oversees integration of packaged solution into enterprise technical architecture and business environment

Consultant Profile:
* Minimum 15 years of experience in successful implementation of multinational SAP projects. Experience in the (chemical) process industry is an advantage.
* Excellent knowledge of multiple SAP modules. Focus on SD/MM (supply chain, order management, manufacturing) is an advantage, but more than minimal experience with Financial modules is required.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to analyze, understand and effectively communicate between business requirements and technical design and implementation
* Good understanding of and affinity with the cross-functional processes in a multinational enterprise
* Excellent understanding and mastering of methodologies to manage and improve complex cross-functional business processes
* Business partnership (assesses the needs of the business users and finds solutions)
* Problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making skills to influence management, as well as internal and external partners
* Demonstrated leadership abilities; effective in Matrix management and team building; change advocate
* Works well with others in an integrated team environment
* Self-motivated and a problem solver
* Experienced in facilitation and negotiating
* Intercultural competence

English Speaking Assignment.

Start: 10th March 2014. 6 Month+ Contract.

Location: South of Brussels, Belgium.
