One of our clients, an international company in the financial service industry is currently looking for an SAP Basis Administrator

Scope of Work:

SAP System Administrator

Skills:

Min 3 years' experience with:

- SAP R3/ECC6 Basis (BC)
- Unix sysadmin: HPUX, HPVM
- SAP Portal
- SAP GRC

Min 1 year' experience with:

- Oracle database
- Netweaver 7.3 landscape

- The candidate will participate in the implementation of multiple projects on SAP technology and HPUX environment.

Your responsibilities will be to:

- Perform and control day-to-day systems administration/management activities that may include initial set-up, configuration, testing ofhardware or software platforms and/or customization to maintenance and upgrade projects
- Resolve moderately complex problem management issues by investigatingand devising solutions for systems/operations. May include installations, set-ups, error message, on line transactions, system/application status,

testing solutions, operational procedures in accordance with theservice level agreement.
- Ensure user satisfaction by providing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and quickly resolving complex problems.
- Review complex problem situations and identify preventive measures/improvements to processes, procedures or tools and implement these asrequired.
- Participate in system/network projects/enhancements by representing department and providing technical advise/solutions ensuring adherenceto documented processes and procedures and risk mitigation efforts.

Additional information:

- Education
- University degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent experience

Experience:

- 3+ years SAP BC experience on a HPUX Unix platform and Oracle as DBA
- Professional knowledge and expertise
- Expert knowledge of SAP R3/ECC6 Basis(BC) tasks
- Good Unix sysadmin skills, preferably HPUX, HPVM
- Knowledge of Oracle DBA
- Knowledge of SAP Portal and SAP GRC
- Flexible team player able to work in a process/procedure driven organisation.
- The candidate able to work in autonomy and able to take decisions
- Willing to rotate in an on-call scheme
- Willing to perform occasional weekend work
