SAP System Administrator

Link Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP System Administrator for a long-term contract position in Las Vegas, NV. This position will require hands on SAP application and infrastructure administration experience and the selected candidate must have proven experience in the daily monitoring, advanced troubleshooting, proactive system analysis, standard SAP administration activities, and management of complex SAP landscapes including these SAP products (ECC, BW, Solution Manager, Basis, Process Integration, and Enterprise Portal). This individual should have experience in multiple SAP release installations and experience with SAP upgrade projects in large scale, complex landscape environments.

JOB DUTIES

Supports SAP system software and hardware infrastructure (ERP ECC 6.0 EhP 5, EhP 1, PI, EP6, Solution Manager 3.2, Business Warehouse, GRC, IBM p4 and p5 series and Oracle 11g); planning, executing and communicating a normal maintenance schedule; analysing, communicating, and resolving problems for non-planned down times; scheduling and implementing back-up and restore components of the SAP production and non-production environments; provide support for the Client SAP batch processing and printing function; and assist in SAP upgrade planning. To support the operational demands of the Enterprise.

Support the business process requirements that are not included within the base code framework of the SAP system.

Apply upgrades and/or upgrades to the Oracle environments supporting the SAP applications.

Analyzes the need for modifications, upgrades and enhancements to existing portal management system software and/or hardware by evaluating the effectiveness of the current system; providing consulting expertise to functional teams and technical staff; and coordinating, planning and executing enhancement activities.

Develop and maintain effective access methodologies to user data in SAP business warehouse.

Supports the SAP infrastructure by managing the SAP application environment; to support the operational demands of the enterprise community.

Provide BASIS management, development and support.

Provide Portal management, development, and support.

Manages, develops and supports, the Process Integration System (PI) to maximize the efficient of the single point of integration without compromising existing complex Legacy systems.

Provide leadership and participate in assigned tasks of a work unit in order to meet defined unit goals and schedules; and comply with Client schedule, quality, quantity, and safety and performance standards.

Other duties as assigned to support the goals of the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous role as SAP technical all-rounder to provide support and guidance to SAP Basis team or large contribution to several SAP Basis projects.
- 3+ years of experience as a SAP system administrator or expert
- SAP applications database (Oracle) and operating system administration (Unix and Windows)
- ODBC and JDBC drivers
