For a major international client in Vevey, we are looking for a: SAP SUPPORT PACK DEPLOYMENT COORDINATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

MANAGE SAP SUPPORT PACK DEPLOYMENT ACTIVITIES

- Create the deployment project plan
- Define the deployment dates for all environments, considering testing effort, freeze windows, resource availability and business needs
- Adhere to and improve the standard SAP Support Pack deployment methodology
- Bring experience, external perspective and innovation to drive improvements at project level
- Ensure compliance with frameworks, tools, methodologies and policies

DEPLOYMENT COORDINATION

- Drive and support project planning for all deployment phases
- Ensure and be accountable for the delivery of all deployment tasks
- Orchestrate the progress of deployment through project phases
- Analyze risks & issues and ensure resolution
- Ensure deployment is not hampered by parallel or conflicting projects and activities
- Coordination of all supporting resources and services required for execution

COMMUNICATION AND PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

- Secure cross-stream engagement for deployment
- Secure availability of resources to perform deployment as per plan
- Alignment with the other areas, in particular freeze management
- Use and share knowledge and experience to assist and support other project teams where necessary

Knowledge

- Broad knowledge of the clients solutions and the business processes within
- Service management (freeze) processes
- Ideally SAP Basis experience
- Knowledge around SAP Support Packs and the deployment methods (SUM, NZDT, zDM)
- Good understanding of SPAU/SPDD
- Solid organizational and time management skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Project Management knowledge (PMP/PRINCE2) would be an asset

Tools

- High level of proficiency in MS Office
- SAP Solution Manager
