Our client currently makes use of MS Office tools to handle Policy registration and possible subsequent Claims handling. The relevant insurance is Property & Casualty.
They would like to have a brief assessment of the relevance and usability of the SAP Claims Management module for PC Claims requirements.
The objectives of this project are to:
Implement a user friendly IT solution that guarantees:
Reliable accurate data (saving manual entering/reentering)
Visibility (Reporting. Improved Risk Mgmt, Governance: Loss reserves)
Traceability of the information (Auditability: Increased quality..)

Insurance Policies
Registration of the main data within all Insurance Policies into the tool. Claims limited to property-cargo-Charter liability and General & Product liability.
Category (Property Damage, General and Products Liability, Charterer's Liability and Cargo)

Claims properties
The claim ( Child ) should be possible to link to the Policy ( Parent )
The information included in this report is basically everything related to each claim. The details for each of the four Claim categories (See ID 1) have been detailed, but are not attached in this email.

Reporting
o Searchability (at any given time: typical 50 open/live claims)
o Cross Reporting features/flexibility:
o (Excel) Pivotish functionality....
o Export option to Excel
o Dashboard
o Aggregated updated picture
Alerts on due dates for follow up and for policy expiry dates (renewals)
o Email preferable: email group set up is preferable
Standard reporting (set of reports) on Policies, Claims and Claims linked to Policies
o Export option to Excel

Confidentiality: Password required....Unique users.
Audit log: (For entrance of new transactions, etc)
Full SSO, or AD-credentials when not using a Yara device.
Guest access for 3rd parties

Monthly Excel sheet received from claims handler. (approx.. 1400 claims).
