Sap Solution Architect - SCM - ECC System - SD - MM - QM - PP - Pharma

We are currently looking for a SAP Solution Architect for a global pharmaceutical company based in Basel (Switzerland), this is a short term contract.

As The SAP Solution Architect ALTO, you will join a team of talented, creative, and motivated SAP Business Systems Analysts, Developers, Solution Architects, Project and People Managers, that work on the ALTO project within Pharma Informatics ERP Demand-to-Supply organization.

Key responsibilities:

- Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into applicable functional specification.
- Design, build, test, deploy new- and/or enhance existing system functionalities; develop new features per business requirements in the Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, Production Planning and Quality Management areas.
- Create system documentation, including functional specifications, test plans, and test scripts.
- Collaborate with other IT teams - ie with SAP BPM Solution Architects to implement solutions, also with SAP ABAP developers
- Handover of solution to the System's Operations Support Team.

Qualifications Required:

- Minimum of 5 years' experience with SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management)
- at least 1-2 years of experience working in the ForWard SAP ECC system as Solution Architect.
- Detailed knowledge of supply chain processes required
- Expert in SAP SD, MM, QM, PP modules
- Experience as a consultant, functional expert (highly desirable).
- Experience conducting large-scale requirements and design sessions with business process owners
- Must be a self-starter, results-oriented and have a track record of timely, high-quality deliverable
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other validated environment is a must
- Speaking and writing fluently in English is a must
