Introduction:

Role Description:
- The SAP Solution Architect joins a team of talented, creative, and motivated SAP Business Systems Analysts, Developers, Solution Architects, Project and People Managers, that work on our client project within Pharma Informatics ERP Demand-to-Supply organization (there are 5-6 people the candidate works closely with).
- This position is a temporary one, mainly in February and in March 2016.
- This position is to lead the Design, Build and Test activities of several enhancements into the Forward SAP ERP System, supporting some of the project requirements. The position reports functionally to the IT Project Manager. Aim is to finish all the to-DOS until June when the testing phase is starting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements. Translate business needs into applicable functional specification.
-Design, build, test, deploy new- and/or enhance existing system functionalities; develop new features per business requirements in the Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, Production Planning and Quality Management areas.
- Create system documentation, including functional specifications, test plans, and test scripts.
- Collaborate with other IT teams - ie with SAP BPM Solution Architects - to implement solutions, also with SAP ABAP developers
- Handover of solution to the System's Operations Support Team
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a multi-cultural, global (non co-located) work teams.
- 5 to 9 years of SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management)
- At least 1-2 years of experience working in the ForWard SAP ECC system as a Solution Architect.
- Detailed knowledge of supply chain processes required.
- Expert in SAP SD, MM, QM, PP modules
- Experience as a consultant, functional expert, or in a similar role is highly desirable
- Experience conducting large-scale requirements and design sessions with business process owners
- Must be a self-starter, results-oriented and have a track record of timely, high-quality deliverable
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other validated environment is a must
- Speaking and writing fluently in English is a must.
