SAP Solution Architect - Berkshire/Oxford - 6 month rolling contract on a two year programme

The SAP Solution Architect is a senior SAP Roadmap Programme delivery role with overall responsibility for the delivery of an integrated SAP solution. The role will ensure a consistent design and build across process, functional and technical aspects of the programme to ensure the Reach objective of improving our ability to understand and manage risk globally is achieved. It will also ensure maintenance of the template design during the phased deployment of the SAP Roadmap solution.
•Work with the business process work streams and SAP application consultants to assess the business requirements and how they can be delivered using standard SAP functionality.
•Determine any gaps between requirements and SAP functionalities and define workable solutions to bridge those gaps.
•Lead the design workshops and solution blueprint with support from the business process work streams and SAP application consultants.
•Identify and resolve design and solution conflicts with a direct accountability for integration points across different process streams.
•Accountable for the overall SAP solution architecture and usage of the various SAP processes, applications and supporting components.

Skills and experience: 10 years plus SAP Architecture experience

•Multiple (10) years of consulting experience across varied customers and industries, including global SAP rollout and/or consolidation programmes.
•Business process knowledge across finance, supply chain and logistics processes.
•Deep understanding of SAP functionality, products and competencies related to configuration, development, security, workflows, data and reporting.
•Usage of non-SAP products and technologies in the areas of Portals, Data ETL, Testing and Integration middleware.
•Proven experience in SAP implementation based on similar programmes - i.e. template design and build programmes with multiple deployment waves.
