SAP Security Resource

DESCRIPTION:
Manages applications that facilitate communications and file/knowledge transfer, ensures connectivity and maintains governing controls and security.

MAJOR ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Designs and implements enterprise class services for messaging, identity management and information security
- Engineers the messaging infrastructure including electronic mail, instant messaging, mobile messaging and emerging messaging
- Work with functional owners to design and build SAP security roles and validate that SoD rules are being followed.
- Help the project team through testing when rapid role changes are expected.
- Monitor systems and report any issues to Senior SAP Security and Controls Consultant.
- Provide technical support for customer Role implementation and/or Role redesign by assisting customers in defining Roles and remediating potential Segregation of Duty (SoD) conflicts
- Provide technical support for customer implementation of SAP based technology like Centralized User Administration, Identity Management (IdM), Single Sign-On, and SAP GRC
- Assist in customer training for SAP security and controls concepts including basic User and Role maintenance, implementing Access Control/SoD tools, etc.
- Define and implement SAP security and controls policies and procedures for customers.
- Provide first-level support for users with security related problems or questions about the systems administered
- Provides identity and access management solutions, including directory services, access management, account and entitlement provisioning, certificate and digital signature services, and associated audit functions
- Provides general protection services including anti-virus and spy ware protection, intrusion prevention/detection, Firewall protection, and security information management systems
- Partners with the service owners to understand their service delivery requirements, problems and plans
- Co-develops the technology roadmaps and engineers the solutions that ensure the IT services are scalable, enabled smoothly, operable and robust
- Executes tactical security operations and threat management tasks
- Manages the risks and business impacts of security policies and privacy laws, such as authentication, authorization, administration, and auditing.
- Information Security Specialist - executes tactical security operations and threat management tasks.
- Executes project specific work assignments.
- Participates in work assignment initiatives or service development efforts, contributing to the technical expectations of the initiative.
- Assists in determining and leading departmental and tactical work efforts for the Security & Privacy Service.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- SAP BO Security Experience
- SAP BPC Security Experience
- Complex role and authorizations design and implementation
- Deep understanding of SOX compliance and controls
- User provisioning
- Knowledge of the GRC module is a very important.
- At least 7-10 years of SAP security Hands-on experience is necessary.
