SAP Security Consultant - Global SAP Programme

SAP Security Consultant required to join a new global SAP Upgrade Programme for an industry leader. Long term opportunity based in Hong Kong, excellent team environment.

Responsibilities

*Review global documentation to ensure a good understanding of the template solution and the security design to:
- support the business in their general understanding of SAP Security concepts as well as within the template.
- ensure a good understanding of the customisations around the data access controls within the template.

*Review content and presentations prepared by the other SAP Consultants to support their blueprint workshops and playback sessions and support the SAP Security Solution Lead in the delivery of these workshops.
*Provide support to the SAP Security Solution Lead to:
*work with business teams to gather security requirements and complete the member firms' security design using the global template security roles.
- provide feedback and guidance to the business for anything security related - including highlighting any Segregation of Duties issues or high risk levels of access.
- communicate to the Global team where feedback or confirmation is required.

*Work with the Global security team to derive local security roles for the business from the global template and put together local composite roles within defined naming conventions.
*Where required, document any local change request (CR) security requirements for the business and consult with the Global team to define solutions.
*Work with the team to analyse existing business security designs and identify impacts of the updated global template security design, and document the updates to their existing composite roles to include new functionality or changes to functionality or authorisation concepts.
*Work with business to map their local SAP security roles to Active Directory (AD) groups.
*Undertake a phase of integration testing of the new security roles and support SAP Consultants in their testing where required.
*Troubleshoot and investigate any security defects raised or post go-live implementation support issues and work with Regional and Global teams to identify a resolution. Testing of returned defects before handing back to member firms for UAT.
*Provide guidance and support to Regional Application Support team for:
- any production support security issues.
- set-up of UAT/Pre-production environment user IDs for testing.
- periodic SAP audit and compliance checks.
- the analysis and resolution of incidents and problems, and guiding team members toward resolving the problems.

Experience

*Minimum of three years' experience with SAP security administration in an environment with the most recent releases of NetWeaver, ECC, CRM, BI, PI, EP, and Solution Manager
*Minimum of five years' experience in security administration, ideally in a global setting in a technology and/or a professional services environment
*Hands-on experience with Central User Administration, LDAP, single sign-on, GRC, and Enterprise Portal in a complex SAP landscape
*Bachelor's degree or a diploma in IT/IS or equivalent, relevant technical and information security certifications desired
*Experience in communicating about complex technical topics, writing audit reports and knowledge of ITIL processes
*Experience using Microsoft Office and other electronic communication tools
*Have solid presentation and communication skills in English (other Asian language skills are an asset).
*Able to make rational decisions regarding the escalation of problems
*Be a team player and have a willingness to take calls from different time zones (eg, early morning and/or late evening).
*Be willing to be on call and travel to company locations in the Asia Pacific region
