Job Description

The Senior SAP OM Analyst is responsible for the development and maintenance of computer systems and business process solutions in support of our client's Order Management business. This role requires the ability to analyze, design, test, and implement systems to enable the business community to achieve their objectives.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development and maintenance of Order Management functionality, including sales order processing, SAP pricing, availability checking/scheduling, delivery and credit card processing, intercompany transactions, billing plans and revenue recognition, and reporting/decision support systems
Responsible for systems analysis/design/configuration and business process analysis, documentation, and presentation
Test/evaluate new and support existing OM computer system functionality
Interact with functional users to develop functional requirements, including business impact/ROI; translate end-user requirements into detailed specifications; identify gaps and work with technical resources to define technical requirements
Coordinate development and execution of system conversions
Develop procedures, processes, and guidelines; re-engineer business processes if necessary
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or equivalent work experience
6-8 years of experience in an IT systems analysis function, working with end-users to translate business requirements into systems specifications
2-3 full life cycle SAP implementations
Experience with SAP ABAP, Vistex DM, and EDI/B2B/e-Commerce solutions is a plus
Experience in business processes around wholesale distribution and retail is a plus
Excellent analytical and written/oral communications skills; ability to lead discussions, present ideas, and interact with all levels of the organization
Experience leading and project managing people and deliverables; solid organization, time management, and project estimating skills; ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
