SAP SD/MM Data Migration Consultant in Singapore
Start Date: April 1, 2013
Duration: 45 days
We need a SAP consultant with experience in MM/SD data migration. The data migration program is already built and tested in one trial run. We need the consultant to drive the data migration trial migration runs and production cutover for MM/SD data objects. He/She will need to coordinate with Data Services consultant on any adjustment needed on the extraction and transformation programs.
The official skill requirement is as follows:
SAP Data Migration (MM/SD) Consultant
- Carry out Data migration activities for SAP and non-SAP target systems for MM (PR/PO/GR) and SD (Sales Order) functional areas.
- Plan, identify, define and conduct unit testing to ensure the DM requirements are met.
- Update DM related project mapping documentation but not limited to design specifications, program specifications and unit test plan.
- Drive the production cutover data migration for MM and SD data objects.
- Carry out data validation for MM/SD loaded data
- Provide on-site support after system go-live.
- Troubleshoot any problems reported before and after go-live.
- Participate in DM related quality assurance activities and resolve any risks or areas for improvement identified.
- Responsible for the timely preparation and reporting of progress status updates to the DM Lead.
- Responsible for supporting and resolving all DM related problems reported and service requests received within the Service Level Agreement during post go-live phase.
- Handle all data migration related activities as assigned by SAP project manager.
Below are the requirements and competencies:
- Minimum 3-5 years SAP MM/SD implementation experience with at least 1-2 full cycle implementations of SAP ERP with key roles in data migration of MM/SD objects.
- Knowledge of PS module will be bonus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, manage timelines and expectations, and produce high quality deliverables
- Experience in LSMW is a must.
