SAP SD/MM Consultant - Continuous Template Improvement

SAP SD/MM Analyst - Continuous Improvement. My client, A global Blue Chip organization is currently looking for a functional SD/MM consultant for a short term project with almost certain extension.

Responsbilities include:

- Understand clients Business processes as defined by the template
- Analyse and propose alternatives to the business requirements regarding local and template changes
- Negotiate and agree timeline, costs and details to give maximum visibility on progress and work accomplished
- Write functional specifications, customizing documents and unit test documents
- Coordinate ABAP developments with offshore and on-shore developers
- Perform and coordinate Unit testing, Regression testing, Live Site testing
- Support business testing and provide fixes
- Provide Knowledge Transfer to Service teams
- Productionize all developments in a timely manner and with zero business operations disruption

On occasion you would be required to take on some support duties if there is a spike in ticket numbers.

The candidate will have very good communication (fluent English), interpersonal skills and will need to be autonomous. The candidate will have proven experience in being results driven and a self learner.

The candidate will have very strong (and proven) functional including:

*Advanced customising skills in MM and SD areas
*Working experience in the FMCG industry and have a great depth of knowledge.
*Ideall ABAP reading and debugging skills
*A high level knowledge of APO, HUM, WM

The client is ideally looking for someone local or someone that is willing to relocate to Strasbourg for the duration as it is logistically not the easiest place to get to.
