SAP SD Consultant
€75 per hour
Near Antwerp, Belgium
Contract - until the end of 2013
Our leading client is currently seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant to join their team on sit in Belgium assisting with one of their ongoing projects implementing a single client SAP system available to our clients international sites and customers. The position required an experienced SAP professional with the ability to hit the ground running and integrate as part of our clients existing team with a proactive attitude. This is a customer-facing position so the consultant needs to have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
- analysing the current business flows
- analyse the impact on the current flows due to a new financial setup and the move to a SAP client on which multiple countries are working
- write functional specifications in DocSpace
- present the new design in workshops with the users
- prepare technical hand-over to the offshore ABAP team
- customize the new flows
- write test scripts in HP Quality Center
- execute test scripts in HP Quality Center
- perform user training
- support UAT
- execute the cut-over plan
- provide post-golive support
Required Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of the SAP SD module (Order processing - Delivery processing - Billing) and knowledge of integration points with SAP MM and FI modules.
- Strong knowledge of Order to Cash process in particular and Supply Chain processes in general.
- Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solution & specifying that solution in functional and technical design documents. Ability to analyse existing OTC solutions.
- Ability to translate functional and technical design in appropriate test scripts and identify test cases to test the solution.
- Execute configuration and testing and hand-over/discuss development requests to an offshore technical teamBroad experience with interfacing to external systems (EDI/file/IDOC) for orders, deliveries, invoices, warehouse integrations and replenishment flows between SAP systems.
- Fluent English - both written and verbal
- Good knowledge on (understand) ABAP coding and able to perform debugging independently
Desired Skills:
- Experience with working in an international environment, with key users located across the EMEA region.
- Knowledge of the Dutch & French language is a plus
- Experience with working in a virtual team & collaboration with off-shore ABAP team.APO knowledge for supporting global ATP check.
- Knowlegde of the SAP cross system flow of goods solution
- Familiar with formal change management and System Development Life Cycle
