Next Ventures is currently looking for a SAP SCM Business Systems Analyst/Solution Architect for a long term project with a multinational pharma company in Basel.
The SAP Business Systems Analyst/Solution Architect, Clinical Supply Services joins a team of talented, creative, and motivated SAP Business Systems Analysts, Developers, Solution Architects, Project and People Managers, that are members of the Clinical Supply Service Team within Pharma Informatics ERP Demand-to-Supply organization. This global team provides primarily SAP-based solutions and services to our Global Clinical Supply Chain business functions. This position reports functionally to the Team Head, Clinical Supply Services. This position delivers new solutions and enhancements ensuring scalability and maintainability of the GxP applications in support of our global Clinical Supply business teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements. Translate business needs into applicable functional specification via leading prototyping and fit-gap approaches.
Design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance existing system functionalities; develop new features per business requirements.
Create system documentation, including functional and technical specifications, test plans and test scripts.
Ensure validation, audit, and legal compliance of system throughout life cycle.
Support business in creation of SOPs, Work Instructions, Training, etc. as needed.
Provide content knowledge on Incident, Problem, and Change management processes to appropriate IT teams.
Drive coordination of activities for small-to-medium changes in area of responsibility; perform system administration and provide 2nd/3rd level support.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate has experience working in a multi-cultural, global (non co-located) work teams, and supporting multi-time zone end-user communities.
For this position, the ideal candidate brings the following qualifications:
5 - 9 years of SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management)
Minimum 3-5 years hands-on configuration experience.
Detailed knowledge of supply chain and clinical business processes required.
Experience as a consultant, functional expert, or similar role highly desirable.
Expert in deploying and monitoring SAP solutions across a multi-system landscape
Skilled in problem/incident management, SLAs - Service Level Agreements and full life cycle system support.
Experience conducting large-scale requirements and design sessions with business process owners.
Ability to learn new technical concepts and systems; Highly adaptable to change
Must be able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Must be a self-starter, results-oriented and have a track record of timely, high-quality deliverables.
Excellent verbal/written communications skills; strong presentation and negotiation/conflict resolution skills.
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other validated environment highly desired.
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or relevant business discipline.
SAP Certification in PP/PI/QM/MM desirable
SAP Knowledge in Production Planing & APO Integration, Quality Management and Masterdata Management
Understanding of ITIL and ITSM concepts
