SAP Reporting Architect - Berkshire/Oxford - 6 month rolling contract on a two year programme

The SAP Reporting Architect is a senior SAP Roadmap Programme delivery role with overall responsibility for the delivery of the management and operational reporting requirements of the SAP solution.
•Work with the SAP Solution Architect and SAP application consultants to assess the solu-tion requirements and how they can be delivered using standard SAP ECC and BW func-tionality. Determine any gaps between requirements and SAP functionalities and de-fine workable solutions to bridge those gaps.
•Lead a detailed assessment of the current state reporting solutions provided by the leg-acy SAP ECC and BW systems in OUP. Lead the requirements gathering exercise on po-tential future state reporting requirements resulting in proposals for the overall man-agement and operational reporting solution for the Press.
•Work with the SAP Technical Architect to define the infrastructure requirements for the proposed management reporting solution(s). Assess programme delivery and future state business requirements including system sizing, network impacts, system connec-tivity, etc. Work with the SAP Lifecycle and Enterprise Architecture team to complete an RFP process (if required) and the subsequent implementation of the reporting solu-tions.
•Lead the reporting design workshops and solution blueprint with support from the business process work streams and SAP application consultants. Identify and resolve design and solution conflicts with a direct accountability for integration points across dif-ferent process streams.
•Accountable for the overall SAP reporting architecture and usage of the various SAP technologies including standard SAP ECC reports, custom ABAP and query (SQVI) tools, BI/BW cube design and MIS front-end solutions.

Skills and experience:
•Multiple (>10) years of consulting experience across varied customers and industries, including global SAP rollout and/or consolidation programmes.
•Functional experience in SAP BI/BW management reporting functionality including de-sign of cube structures, reporting outputs and security requirements.
•Functional experience in SAP ECC reporting functionality - standard reporting functions, custom ABAP developments and query tools (SQVI).
•Previous experience in designing an integrated management reporting solution includ-ing SAP, BW and non-SAP specific applications. Related experience in defining solution proposals and recommendations for integrated reporting solutions.
•Experience in producing functional and technical specifications to support new report development, unit and integration test activities, management of report developers, and internal QA of the reporting solutions.
•Proven experience in SAP processes and methodologies including testing, cutover, training delivery and post go-live support.
