SAP QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTER SEATTLE, WA CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

Job Summary and Mission:

Establishing and sustaining quality assurance processes, practices, methods, tools and controls in support of application and system requirement, development and test activities throughout the software development and sustainment life cycles. Supervises and performs complex system and problem analysis.

REQUIRED JOB EXPERIENCE AND SKILL SET:

- 7+ years of testing experience on SAP HR/HCM (PA, OM, PT & PY)
- 5+ years of testing experience of Payroll processes including Off-cycle, Year-end activities, garnishments, 3rd party, Taxes
- 3+ years of testing experience on SAP ESS & MSS
- 5+ years of experience in leading and managing the project test efforts (test plan, test execution strategy, status reports)
- Preferred language skills (verbal & written): German and English
- Strong understanding of project management or software development life cycle methodologies ASAP, Waterfall & Agile (Scrum Framework)
- Excellent knowledge of HP Quality Center and/or TFS and the structure of test artifacts (test cases, scripts, results and defects) with in the tool

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supervises and performs complex system and problem analysis associated with applications development and test management activities encompassing project, release, and sustainment efforts.
- Constructs and reviews test plans, scenarios, cases and scripts, ensuring that requirement coverage is adequate and business requirements, functional specifications and designs are linked to test artifacts.
- Provides supervision and guidance to other quality assurance analysts, developers, and testers in the development and implementation of quality assurance processes, methods, and tools.
- Provides status and makes recommendations on meeting test criteria and production rollout readiness.
- Works with project and business resources to ensure functional and technical specifications and designs fulfil the requirements quality criteria.
- Participates in requirements and design review.
- Maps business requirements, functional and technical specifications to test scenarios, cases, and scripts.
- Accurately monitors and communicates test execution results.
- Creates and follows current processes, standards and practices to develop, test and implement quality assurance operational procedures for use by applicable requirements, development, test, and quality assurance teams.
- Provides assessment information on business and functional impacts.
- Facilitates architecting, designing, and implementing new and existing testing tools and methods.
- Organizes and manages data environment and configuration requirements with business, functional and technical analysts, as well as development and test teams.
- Provides guidance to other analysts, developers and testers.

SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE:

- Work experience in software requirements, development or testing with creating and executing quality assurance test plans, scenarios, cases, checklists and scripts: 5 years
- Experience in software requirements, development, and testing activities with multiple, simultaneous quality assurance efforts, and a track record as a contributor with providing quality assurance support in an analyst capacity, including tools development and usage: 5 years
- Demonstrated collaboration on project teams and interaction with project managers, business and functional analysts, developers and the business community directly related to quality assurance responsibilities and roles: 5 years
- Experience with programming languages and script development: 5 years
- Demonstrate test management processes and technical skills, including an understanding of manual and automated test execution and performance related tools: 5 years
- Demonstrate knowledge using version control and defect tracking methods, including an understanding of associated tools: 5 years
- Knowledge of project management skills, including an understanding of project management processes and related tools: 5 years
- Knowledge of application software development life cycle concepts
