SAP PROJECT MANAGER

For a global organisation who are performing an ongoing program, we are currently looking for a SAP Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
* Take a lead on scoping, planning, budgeting & execution of SAP delivery projects
* Responsible for managing senior stakeholders in the business
* Ensure effective sponsorship for the SAP project is established with project governance & controls throughout.
* Manage highly Matrix teams of 50+ individuals across multiple functional & technical disciplines
* Responsible for ensuring business ownership at critical stages of the project including requirements definition, user acceptance testing & business change adoption.
* Ensuring stakeholder buy in of business requirements for the scope of the project and agreement of project plans, key milestones and funding needs.
* Be the point of escalation for senior management in the business and key stakeholders
* Direct activities across the business units and local operating companies to ensure project progresses to schedule
* Responsible for leading & inspiring teams under intense pressure & timescales on a day to day basis to deliver on milestones & deliverables.
* Responsible for maintaining the project resource management process

Profile required:
* Ability to manage project budgets in the range £5-10m
*Specific SAP project management experience (7 years+) with a minimum of 2 full life cycle projects.
* Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams across a wide range of technical, functional & business disciplines
* Ability to manage SAP projects from inception to successful implementation following a complete end to end life cycle & requiring significant business change.
* Ability to manage people across different geographic locations, time zones and cultures.
* Solid track record in setting and managing customer expectations with strong teamwork ethic and interpersonal skills.
* Skill in identifying and prioritising workload, looking ahead & anticipating problems.
* Ability to conceptualise creative solutions, articulate them, and gain buy-in from senior managers.
* Demonstrates proper disciplined use of project management techniques & skills in an SAP context to delivery to time, quality & budget.
