SAP Project Manager

We are actively screening and interviewing candidates for the following:

TITLE:  SAP Project Manager

LOCATION:  Roanoke, VA 24001

TYPE:  Contract - 6 months+

RATE:  Market/Competitive

TRAVEL: Some travel may be required but will not exceed 10%.

Our client is seeking resumes for a contractor. The desired, high-level requirements are:

- SDLC/ASAP project management expertise (required)
- QA/Test Automation planning & execution expertise (required)
- SAP Incident management and testing (desired)

The candidate will be working directly with the SAP Material Management/Purchasing support team, Budget Planningeffective team player
- Self-motivated/managed

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- 2-5+ years of experience with ASAP/SDLC project management
- 2-5+ years of experience with Quality Assurance/Test Automation design and implementation
- 3+ projects as a practice lead, implementing industry standard Quality Assurance/Test Automation practices within a client organization
- Hands-on repository design in Solution Manager with specific respect to testing automation
- 3+ years of experience in a client-facing project lead position

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

- Quality control and guidance with regard to project set up, work breakdown, planning, deliverable definition, etc.  per the SAP ASAP methodology.
- Optimizing all project effort so as to maximize the application of industry standard Quality Assurance/Testing practices, with a specific focus on alignment with a planned effort to implement test automation throughout the SAP application.
- Share knowledge of HCM functionality with team members

This position is located in our Roanoke, VA office building with a mid-February start date.  Some travel may be required but will not exceed 10%.   Duration of contract is expected to last 6 months with the option to renew the contract or permanently hire (eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship is a requirement for permanent hire).
