SAP Project Lead

For our client located in Brussels, Belgium, we are currently looking for a Project Leader with strong SAP functional expertise in IM & PS

Start: October

Duration: 3 months + 3 months extension

Work location: Brussels

Project language: English

We are looking for a project leader with strong SAP functional expertise in the following SAP modules:
Investment Management (IM) & Project System (PS) 
Material & Inventory Management (MM)
Purchasing of industrial goods (MM)
Purchasing of services (external service management)
Good knowledge of SAP Finance (FI) module is a plus

The project is focused on the adaptation & amelioration of the existing budget tool used by internal clients department according to the recommendations that will be formalized during the different workshops done by the departments cost control department and the other internal departments.

The tool is currently developed in SAP and supports the following processes:
- Department budgeting process on company perimeter
- Control and collect the departments costs across all entities within our client (company)
- Re-invoice departments customers
- Reporting (ie follow-up of departments costs vs departments budget for a particular Businesses/ "Metiers")

The role of the project lead:

To be the SAP Project Leader (CPI) 
To work with the cost control department and the other internal departments to translate and synthesis the recommendations made in the workshops into new specifications for the current SAP tool. 
To prepare a project plan, involving the design of the new functionalities, the build and the test by IT and by business users
To manage the execution of the project
To perform and/or pilot the configuration & development of the solution
To ensure the quality of the delivery
To ensure the user-friendliness & robustness of the application

Required skills
Deep knowledge and minimum 5 years experience in SAP ECC6 on several SAP modules : IM/PS, MM
Basic knowledge of SAP BW
Knowledge of integration and potential impacts with FI/CO Module

Ongoing development of technical skills (new SAP functionalities, Business Process and Organization) is critical in staying competitive
