SAP PROGRAMME DIRECTOR/SAP PROGRAMME MANAGER
With a turnover of over 4.0Bn euro, my client is a global leader in their field, dedicated to creating and manufacturing innovative and high value-added industrial products and solutions for a wide range of applications. They even class NASA as a client!
They employ around 10,000 people globally and have manufacturing facilities in 25 countries around the world.
They are currently preparing for a large SAP Programme of work that will last for 4 years and include SAP FICO, MM, SD, PP, and QM. The programme will cover France, Switzerland, Germany, East Europe and the US with a budget of around 20Mn euro - 25Mn euro.
The ideal candidate will have a significant experience of (10+ Years) heading up and delivering Global SAP implementations across SAP Supply Chain, SAP Logistics and SAP Finance. Someone that has the gravitas to drive through the delivery of the SAP Programme on time and on budget and who is prepared to roll up their sleeves and get involved in Functional design and delivery management where required.
The role is based in Zurich and will require an element of International travel.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- 10+ Years SAP Programme Management experience
Managed the delivery of at least 3 large scale, full life cycle SAP project implementations - Delivered SAP in to an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Managed budgets of 20Mn euro +
- Experienced in an on-shore/off-shore delivery model
- Experienced in managing system integrators alongside an in house delivery team
- SAP Delivery Management expertise delivering Global SAP implementations
- Proven SAP Functional knowledge across SAP Supply Chain, Logistics & FICO
- Expertise in SAP Business Process analysis and improvement
- SAP ECC6 project implementation experience
- Fluent written and spoken English - German or French language skills would be an advantage

Our client is at the beginning of a large scale global SAP programme. This is a brownfield programme as they currently have 35 SAP systems ranging from 4.6 through to ECC 6.0 with around 3000 users. In addition the role will also include integration with none SAP applications.
