SAP Procurement / P2P Analyst Contract role - Thames Valley

My client, a Leading Blue Chip Multi National company, is looking for a SAP Procurement / P2P Analyst on an initial 3 Month Contract, starting ASAP.

Objective of the role:

- To provide support to the Indirect Procurement business area post go-live with a focus on governance, policy and procedure definition and enforcement.

Stabilisation Activities:
- Utilise the decisions made during the project lifecycle to create policies, procedures and a how to buy guide for the business.
- Work throughout the business to increase awareness of the indirect procurement solution and drive compliance to the related policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and user education to the requisitioning and buying teams.
- Understand business issues and define procedural and system changes to address the issues.
- Undertake system testing for system development, the development will be undertaken offshore as part of an ongoing outsourced Application Management Support agreement.
- Support the drive to increase the level of catalogue (internal and punch-out) usage within the business.
- Support the transition of the Swindon Indirect Procurement team into a team responsible for all Indirect Procurement activity across Europe

Requirements:

- A Procurement professional with the ability to define policies and procedures applying previous experience of business best practice within a SAP environment.
- Broad knowledge of the principles and use of SAP MM and SRM (configuration knowledge is not required).
