SAP PP WM QM Consultant

One of our clients, an international company in the petrochemical industry currently requirs an SAP PP QM WM Consultant

Length: min 6 months
Location: Brussels

Scope:

Expertise in the following SAP modules is required

In SAP ERP:
- Production Planning (PP)
- Quality Management (QM)
- Warehouse Management (WM)
- Material Management (MM)

MISSION OBJECTIVES & CONTENT

Projects:

- Participation to a European project (focus on PP knowledge - participation to integration tests/user acceptance tests/cutover activities)
- Design of a solution maximizing the use of SAP standard functionalities and minimizing in-house specific developments while checking consistency with existing model
- Customizing (including the maintenance of structural data) and if needed, writing functional specifications for development
- Testing
- Transferring knowledge to Business Support team and preparing go-live support plan with them
- Delivering all necessary documentation and use the internal project management methodology
- Particular attention should be given to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
- Participation in projects following project management methodology (depending of opportunities and existing workload)

Support:

- Work with incident management tool and promote coaching rather than intensive interventions in production system. Ensure knowledge transfer.

Other:

- Contribution to retain internal knowledge: writing technical documentation, sharing experience with internal team
- Regular Reporting to the Project Leader

Reports:

- Periodic progress report to the Management and/or Project leader

SKILLS & COMPETENCES

Technical skills

- Deep knowledge and practical experience in SAP ERP on the following modules: PP/WM/QM
- Good knowledge of MM module
- Knowledge of APO/SCM 7.1 is considered as a plus

Ongoing development of technical skills (new SAP functionalities, Business Process and Organization) is critical in staying competitive.
