SAP PP Consultant

Energize are currently recruiting for an SAP PP consultant for one of our customers based in East Flanders (between Ghent and Brussels)

Position;

This position will implement a new multi-level variant configuration model, business rules and associated master data based upon a Proof Of Concept (POC) already established before, but including additional business requirements.
This applies to material master, classes, characteristics, configuration profiles, bill of material, routings and rules for configurable products in SAP and covers the process from Sales order entry, -pricing and -scheduling over production planning and execution to picking, loading and goods issue and all related reporting.

Responsibilities:

* Implement a new SAP variant configurator (VC) model, including dependency logic, selection conditions, variant tables, super BOM with class items, routing, and pricing models.
* Test and validate configurable model, ensuring business needs are met, BOMs and routings are accurate, cost price and sales order prices are correct.
* Support the model integration in SAP production environment together with Business partner.
* Troubleshoot and resolve system performance and data issues. Work with others as needed to address issues and enhancements.
* Recommend policies and procedures to improve efficiency or customer service.
* Evaluate, support and create more complex solutions, queries or reports as needed.

Key Skills;

* Functional/technical proficiency with at least 2+ full life cycle SAP implementations and 4+ years of industry and/or consulting experience
* At least 3 years of SAP experience implementing SAP Variant Configuration(VC).
* Specialist level understanding of multi-level Variant Configurations, Classes and Characteristics, Configuration Profiles, Bills of Material and Object Dependencies, Dependencies (Selection Conditions, Pre-Conditions, Procedures and Constraints), Procedures, Constraints and Dependency Net, Multilevel Product Configuration, Variant Tables
* Minimum 5 years' experience in PP and good knowledge of the business processes in PP, MM and SD modules including order entry, order generation, order fulfilment, sales order handling, pricing, discounts, production order generation, super bill of materials (BOM), Bill of Routing (BOR), reporting, etc.
* Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
* Adept at implementing technology-enabled business solutions as part of a high-talent team
* Strong configuration and design skills
