Whitehall resources are currently recruiting for a SAP Portal Developer for our Client based in Eindhoven, NL.

Our client is looking for an SAP Portal Developer to assist with the design, build and implementation of the upgraded SAP Portal and Knowledge Management solution. This is a fantastic opportunity for a SAP Portal Developer to work on the latest SAP NetWeaver technology.

The role:

* Drive the delivery of the SAP Portal implementation.
* Analyse and upgrade custom Web Dynpro Java components from NetWeaver 7.01 to 7.5.
* Build Knowledge Management and Collaboration tools in the portal.
* Define development, change management and testing standards.
* Work closely with architects to understand the design of the SAP Portal solution.
* Plan the SAP Portal delivery activities and report progress to the Project Manager.

Technical Skills:

* 5+ years SAP Portal development - NetWeaver 7.01 and higher.
* Experience upgrading SAP Web Dynpro Java components from NetWeaver 7.01 to 7.3 or higher.
* Good understanding of SOA principles and standards.
* Expertise in debugging and troubleshooting.
* Administration of SAP Portal Content.
* SAP Knowledge Management and Collaboration configuration.
* Experience configuring other SAP Portal components (eg UI Theme, Systems, UWL, etc.) is a plus.
* At least 3 SAP Project Life cycles.
