SAP Plant Maintenance Application Expert
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is looking for a SAP Plant Maintenance Application Expert to temporary reinforce its internal application expert team in order to work on different maintenance and development activities.
They are running an Hybrid SAP plant maintenance solution in support of all its production facilities (20+) across Europe but also offshore.
The Hybrid solution consists of a core solution running on SAP ECC6 complemented with:
- Several SAP content server integrated to SAP DMS for storing plant maintenance documents
- SAP Embedded application like Prometheus Work Output Print Manager
- Interfaced Third party applications like Evisions Work Permit Solution or Meridium Reliability
The function consists, in the domain of Plant Maintenance (main focus but also Project Systems) as:
- Application subject matter expert knowing E2E solution (Requirement analysis, solution design, Solution implementation control, business advising, design authority/change management, solution testing/quality management, supporting business in PM data preparation and loading )
- Application supplier service manager in managing (i) the external outsourcing provider in delivering contracted maintenance and development services according to agreed procedure and governance for both SAP and non-SAP solution, (ii) integration with service desk and hosting services specially for non-SAP application
- Application customer service manager in managing the service request coming from the business in regards to the life cycle of the solution (changes, maintenance, incident and problem management, activity prioritization, service, service request management )
The consultant will be working in a Team (with another external consultant and internal employee) and will be acting as first operational application expert contact in charge of the service and expertise related to the SAP PM/PS area. He/she will be functionally reporting to an internal employee. Further there is a lot of collaboration with the other external application expert, which is acting as a second operational contact.
The consultant will be based in Bruxelles office in Zaventem. Position could require occasionally travel to Oslo or other offices/sites of the group in Europe. In really rare occasion, there could be requirement to go for business trips of 1 to 2 weeks outside of Europe. These will be planned enough in advance.
Consultant should have:
- Candidate can be also a Medium experienced SAP PM person which have AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF FULL SAP PM EXPERIENCE.
- Preferably 4 years or more hands on experience on the next SAP module (Candidate can be also a Medium experienced SAP PM person which have at least 2 years of full PM experience): PM support, troubleshooting, application maintenance, functional usage of the modules, ABAP reading, functional design and development such as report creation, configuration,
- 1 year to 3 years or more hands on experience on the next modules: SAP DMS/content server, PS, MM (integration to PM and procurement part related to PM) à support, troubleshooting, application maintenance, functional usage of the modules, ABAP reading, functional design and development such as report creation, configuration,
- Main focus in SAP it selves is about 90% on SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Module
- 7 YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE in the domain
- Expertise in SAP Customer service, as well in other SAP modules will be highly welcome. Expertise in other non-SAP plant maintenance solution will be highly appreciated
- Experience in Data preparation and data migration activities related to the plant material master data (download, cleansing, transformation, loading, data quality control, loading testing
- Experience in generation of end user work instructions, training material and providing training activities.
- Experience in plant maintenance business processes for large industrial chemical companies
- Experience in managing, from an IT point of view, E2E life cycle of third party/non SAP application related to plant maintenance and the service interconnection with the business
- Experience in delivering and managing services in a multi provider outsourcing environment
