The Role: SAP PI Developer

As a SAP PI Developer you will be responsible for successful design, build, test, delivery and maintenance of SAP Process Integration (PI) technology and initiatives.
The SAP PI developer will design, develop and test the SAP PI components needed to support our clients' system integration requirements and will work as a member of a team to integrate these designs into the overall Service Oriented Architecture strategy.

Position Requirements:
In-depth knowledge and minimum 3 years experience of SAP PI architecture (Integration Engine, Adapter Engine, System Landscape Directory, Runtime Workbench, Integration Builder)
Ability to Design, Manage, develop, and support PI integration scenarios between SAP and non-SAP components and systems
Should have implemented collaborative processes using FILE, IDOC, RFC, MAIL, JDBC and HTTP adapters, as well as utilising ABAP PROXY
Experience in monitoring and supporting integration scenarios, and ability to fix errors quickly and effectively
Basic Java and ABAP skills are required
Upgrade experience is preferred
Good understanding of Network architecture, network security, and communication protocols
Experience in configuring alerts, RFC lookups, ALE, BAPIs and BPMs

A BS degree in computer science, engineering, business, science or other field, advanced degrees considered

Educational or professional experience in business information systems or related professional experience
Experience programming with more than one programming language or a desire to learn and apply programming and/or configuration skills on the job

Awareness/Expertise of ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, and Bolt-On's) concepts, and business models
Awareness/Expertise of SOA and/or SAAS concepts, and business technology models
Awareness/Expertise of Database Management System concepts, and business models
Awareness/Expertise of Internet and Mobile Computing Systems concepts, and business models
Desire to travel nationally and internationally
